Bhindi Qeema


Ingredients

Qeema ½ kg
Bhindi ½ kg (cut into half)
Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp
Onion two medium sized chopped
Tomato two medium sized chopped
Salt to taste
Coriander powder 1tbsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
Oil 2 – 3 tbsp
Green chilies 4-5
Lemon for garnish

Method

1.      Rinse bhindi chop off its head and tail and cut it into half.
2.      Take a pan adds qeema, two to three cups of water and add ginger garlic paste.
3.      Then add all the spices including onion and tomato, and cover the lid
4.      Cook till qeema is cooked and water is dried out.
5.      Now, add oil and stir qeema till oil separates.
6.      Then add bhindi and green chilies into qeema and cook on very low flame.
7.      Note: do not add water, bhindi should be cooked on very low flame that is bhaap.
8.      Cook till the bhindi is soft, remove from the stove.
9.      Serve hot and garnish it with lemon.
10.  Enjoy it with Nan or roti.
