Aalo Methi
Ingredients:
Methi (1 ½ Kg)
Potato (1/2 Kg)
Salt (to taste)
Garlic (lehsun) (2-3 cloves)
Whole red chilies (5-6) or
Green chilies (4-5 cut into half)
Oil (2 -3 tbsp)
Method:
1. Pluck all the
leaves of methi and then rinse it.
2. Cut down potato
in to four half, whereas cut garlic into slice.
3. Heat oil in a
wok or pan, then add sliced garlic clove and let them sizzle for 1 -2 sec until
it is golden brown.
4. Then add methi and
potato in it and sauté for a min.
5. Add salt to
taste and whole red chili or green chilies cut into half.
6. Mix well, cover the pan. Do stir in between to
make sure that it is not sticking at the bottom of the pan.
7. Cook till
potatoes are done and methi are wilted, sauté at a high speed for a min so that
it releases its oil.
8. Turn off the
stove and serve.
