Turaii ki Sabzi
Ingredients:
Turaii (zucchinis)
1 kg
Small tomato-chopped 2
Small tomato-chopped 2
Onion 2 medium size
chopped
Coriander Powder ½ tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp

Green Chilies 4-5
Oil 2 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
For Garnish:
Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Fresh lemon or lime juice

Method:
- Peel the Turaii and cut into
slices.
2. Heat the oil in a pan; add onion and sauté
cook till the onion changes color to golden brown.
3. Now add chopped tomatoes, salt and spices.
4. Mix well and cook on medium flame until oil
begins to separate and tomatoes are softened.
5. Add sliced Turaii and stir for 2 minutes on
high flame.
6. Do not add water, as Turaii leaves its own
water while cooking.
7. Cover the pan; simmer the flame and leave to
cook, till the Turaii turns soft.
8. Stir occasionally and cook till the vegetable
is semi-dry.
9. Now add green chilies and leave it on slow heat until the chilies are soft.
10. Garnish with chopped coriander.
Serve with chapatti, Nan, or serve it with
dhai or garnish it with lemon as per your taste.
