Aalo Tamatar
Ingredients:
Aalo ½ kg cut into four
Tomato 5-6 medium sized
chopped
Cumin seeds ½ tbsp
Salt to taste
Red chili powder ½ tbsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Green chilies 5-6
Fresh coriander to
garnish
Method:
1.
Heat oil in a pan;
now add cumin seeds let them crackle for a min on high flame.
2.
Now add potatoes
and tomatoes, stir on high flame and then add all the spices.
3.
Add two cups of water
cover the lid and cook until potatoes and tomatoes are soft and leave the water
consistency of curry is thick enough.
4.
Add green chilies on top leave it for Dum, and
cook till the chilies are soft.
5.
Now garnish it
with fresh coriander, serve hot with Nan or Roti.
