Sabut Masoor ki Daal
Ingredients:
Sabut masoor ki dal 1 cup
Salt (as per taste)
Garlic-finely chopped
2 -3 cloves
Red chilli powder 1
tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Ginger-sliced 1 tsp
Fresh chopped
coriander
Green chilies chopped 1
tsp
Imli (tamarind) pulp 1
tbsp (or as per taste)
Method:
1.
Pick,
clean and wash the dal.
2.
Cook
with water, salt, red chili powder, turmeric and garlic until the daal becomes
soft.
3.
Then
add imli pulp and cook for about 5-10 min.
4.
Heat
oil in a pan; add the garlic and cook until golden brown, add green chilies and
let them crackle.
5.
Add
this mixture to the daal.
6.
Now
add fresh sliced ginger, chopped coriander and serve hot with Nan, roti or
chawal.
