Chaney ki Daal Fry
Ingredients:
Lentils (Chaney ki daal)
250 gram
Ghee 1/2 cup
tomato 2 medium sized
tomato 2 medium sized
Sliced onion2 medium
sized
Whole red chili 6
Red chili powder ½ tbsp
Haldi (turmeric) ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1
tbsp
Green chili 4-5
Fresh Coriander 1/2
bunch
Sliced ginger ½ tbsp
Water a required
Salt to taste
Whole spice powder to
sprinkle
Method:
- Rinse Chaney ki daal and half
boil it.
- Add oil in a pot and fry onion
till golden brown.
- Now add ginger garlic
paste and sauté it on high flame for a min or two.
- Now add spices and tomato and
fry it (bhunnan) by adding water time to time.
- Now add half boil dal and
water, cover the lid till tender and soft.
- Let the oil separate and
sprinkle garam masala and hara masala (fresh coriander and chopped green
chili) and add sliced ginger.
- Keep on dam for few mins…
- Serve hot with Nan or roti.
