Bhindi Fry (Okra) (02)
Ingredients:
Bhindi/okra ½ Kg
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion 2 medium size, chopped
Tomatoes 2 medium size, chopped
Red chili crushed ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Onion 2 medium size, chopped
Tomatoes 2 medium size, chopped
Red chili crushed ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Salt to
taste
Lemon (optional
for garnishing)
Method:
1. Wash and Cut both the ends
and cut into chunks.
2. Heat the oil in a wok and
add the chopped onion. Sauté till light golden. Add chopped tomatoes and sauté.
3. Then add all the dry
spices, salt, turmeric, red crushed chilies. Mix well until the tomatoes are
soft and takes a curry form.
4. Then add bhindi chunks into
that curry and sauté cover the lid and cook over low heat stirring occasionally
so that it doesn’t stick.
5. When the bhindi is cooked sauté
it for a minute on increased heat.
6. Serve hot with roti or Nan.
